Superhero Motivation – Lessons Learned Batman Soul of the Dragon

What’s good S4G fam! So I recently watched Batman Soul of the Dragon and I can’t lie, I really like the style of this movie.

It was old school, smooth, but still modern all at the same time. In this one, there were 2 legit lessons that I learned. Keep reading below to find out more!

Superhero Motivation – Make Lifelong friends

Early in the movie, after completing a long journey to the Himalayas in Nanda Parbat, Bruce began his training at a monastery in the Hindu Kush region.

There he met other martial arts students who would later become friends, enemies, and a mixture of both.

It was during this time of training and building oneself up that Bruce would forge relationships that would last way longer than anyone else would have intended.

It is very important during all walks of our lives that we network and get to know the people around us. Some of these people may become best friends, lovers, business associates, investment partners, etc…

It’s crucial to always be networking and to create those lifelong relationships that can be mutually beneficial to both parties.

Superhero Motivation – Treasure Your Mentors and Keep your Commitments

Whether it’s a teacher, professor, sensei, or mentor, always treasure the people that teach you valuable information that you can apply in your life.

As seen in the movie, O-Sensei has a profound impact on his students at the monastery. Not only did he teach them a way of life and combat skills, he also taught them how to become masters of themselves.

One interesting part in the movie is when he entrusted the Soul Breaker sword to Lady Shiva and how he spoke on the commitment to protecting the sword and the gate.

By the end of the movie, whether it was O-Sensei or Shiva, they both had to maintain their commitments to the gate and the sword.

Each and every member, except for Rip remained loyal to each other in a sense although Shiva had changed way more than the rest as her morals had shifted over the years.

In essence, the main lesson here is that when you commit to something, follow through till the end.
