Personal Development – The Matrix: How to Escape the Matrix Like Neo

What’s good everyone?! I hope that you are doing well and staying healthy!

With that being said, I recently revisited one of my favorite movie Franchises known as the Matrix. Even after all these years, certain elements definitely remain true in the life that we currently live. Now before you ask, no I haven’t seen “The Matrix: Resurrections.”

However, as a result of re-watching this series, I was inspired to break down some of the ways in which we can escape our own versions of the matrix that we all may be stuck in.

Personal Development – The Body cannot live without the mind

During the very first Matrix movie, Neo was introduced to the construct and was educated by Morpheus on what the matrix is.

It was at this time that Morpheus said one of the most powerful quotes that I’ve ever heard and it still resonates with me to this day.

He said that “The Body cannot live without the mind.” Of course, as a normal movie-watcher it seems like he’s just talking about the possibility of death in the matrix.

But to me, this statement meant so much more….

For me it means that everything that we perceive to happen to us and the actions that we take in response, begins within our own mind.

If we feel oppressed or enslaved at this point in our lives, then it begins in our own mind.

We have to make the decision to not accept things as they are perceived by us and to make them the way that we want them to be through our own actions.

A lot of us don’t want to take accountability for the things in our lives that may or may not be going the way we intend.

However, it is important to remember that we are exactly where we are currently in our lives as an exact result of all the decisions that we made up to this point.

In essence, it is our responsibility to own up to this and accept that the matrix that we are currently in is subconsciously created by our own doing with only slight external influences.

The best way to change our circumstances is to figure out what we want, educate ourselves on the subject matter, and take action to get to where we want to be.

Personal Development – Machines are predicting and manipulating our motives and actions

Now this one is a kicker, because it can be both a good and a bad thing. With the use of spyware and adware on nearly any electronic device that has the internet, we are being tracked and coerced towards various products and services for marketing purposes.

These same items are also used by various entities such as the media to influence our ways of thinking to get us to fall in line with the beliefs and ideals of others that we may not agree with purely because it’s a hot topic.

On the positive side, if you have a clear idea of your purpose, you can use these same machines for your own benefits.

You can use these machines to learn what you need in order to escape the rat race, break the system, and corrupt the matrix.

Truthfully, the ability to do what you want, whenever you want, for as long as you want is out there, but most of us will never find it.

The only way to find it is to actively seek it out like Neo sought out Morpheus and Trinity. By committing your actions, spirit, and mind to it, you will inevitably attract it to you.

Once we accept the fact that in most cases this will not be an overnight thing and that we will likely have to continuously seek out the information and/or people that we desire, then we will truly be successful in using these machines to our own distinct advantage.

Personal Development – You have to let it all go, because there is no spoon

What this means is that the only thing, person, or entity that is holding you back is your own mind and thoughts.

Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy. Now this may be due to external forces programming us from our youth or due to the circumstances that we have experienced in our lives up to this present point.

Either way, we all have to figure out how to break these chains and limitations placed on us in order to fulfill our greatest potential.

We are indeed limitless, but it’s up to us to decide that we are before we can truly operate in that state completely.

Furthermore, the fact that you are reading this blog proves that you are one of the few who may yet be truly ready to get unplugged.

So as the great Morpheus would say “I’m trying to free your mind, but I can only show you the door. You’re the one that has to walk through it.”

So make the decision and kick that door down & Happy New Year!
