Here’s the much-anticipated second project in my Beast Mode Series!

If you’re new to the series, then let me elaborate. I devised the Beast Mode series after being inspired after listening to 50 Cent’s Animal Ambition and Ace Hood’s Body Bag 3. Additionally, this was a way for me to start back freestyling since my last freestyle mixtape was back in 2011 prior to Beast Mode Volume 1.
So essentially, each volume of the series is a collection of my random freestyle sessions.
My process for creating these projects is relatively simple. I just choose a beat I want to remix or cover and then I walk up to the mic and say whatever is on my mind.
Now, of course, I’ll listen to it to make sure everything sounds at least half-way decent because I don’t plan to release anything that’s straight garbage unless I’m making fun of a track.

Mixtapes – Michael Jackson “Who is it?” Freestyle Remix Cover
So I had a lot of fun remixing this track. I honestly don’t think anyone could possibly sing this track as good as Michael. The man was literally on a level that no one has ever reached or ever will achieve. He is definitely the King of Pop for a reason.
When making this track, I started out reciting the original chorus from the original version of the song as this is literally one of my favorite songs of his. If you haven’t already, definitely go back and listen to “Who Is It?” from the Dangerous album and watch the video too that accompanies it.
But yeah, in closing out the song, I decided to freestyle the rest via singing and rapping and the song that you can hear in the project is the result of that. Of course, if you’re reading this and you are an artist and you want to collaborate on a song or project, then definitely hit me up!
Mixtapes – Ugly God “Water” Freestyle Remix Cover
When I first saw the “Water” music video, I knew I had to get on this track. Just from watching, I could tell that Ugly God was a big Anime/Superhero kinda guy so I had mad respect for that.
The song overall is pretty dope and catchy to me, however, when checking out some of his other music, besides this one and two other songs, I wasn’t feeling it as much.
When remixing this one, I threw in some authentic finger snaps and then just went off the dome saying whatever came out.
Mixtapes – Troy Ave “Chuck Norris” Freestyle Remix Cover
I first found out about Troy Ave from watching videos from DJ Akademiks. Now at first, I immediately thought that this man looked a little like “Play” from the 90’s rap group Kid n’ Play (which is one of my favorite groups by the way).
However, I began scrolling through my YouTube recommendations and this “Chuck Norris” track came up so I watched it. While watching it, I felt this was one of the dopest tracks ever! The visuals were a remixed version of 50 Cent’s “Power” and the beat just went hard.
So I was like, I got to jump on this track now! And of course, I went to the booth, laid the track and went in!
It’s funny too because it seems like he gets a lot of hate, but I like some of his tracks and the hustle that he displays from time to time.
Mixtapes – Desiigner “Timmy Turner” Freestyle Remix Cover
With this track, one of my co-workers at the time was like “yo you need to check out this Timmy Turner track bro” so I did. And the funny thing is, another co-worker of mine was a little frustrated that Desiigner didn’t talk about the Fairly Odd Parents at all.
So of course, I had to fix that. Once I laid the track, I focused my mind on the Fairly Odd Parents TV show and jumped behind the mic. In the end, the track turned out pretty well in my opinion and I actually spoke about Timmy Turner.
Mixtapes – The Game “92 Barz” Freestyle Remix Cover
In all honesty, this beat just really went hard and I just had to jump on it. Point blank.
Once I started listening to the instrumental, lyrics just started flowing to my mind so I had to get on it before the bars disappeared.
Mixtapes – Kodak Black “Tunnel Vision” Freestyle Remix Cover
One day, a friend of mine was begging me to listen to this Tunnel Vision track by Kodak Black. The funny thing is that he knew that I don’t listen to this man at all, but I let him talk me into it anyway.
In the aftermath of watching the video, I was utterly confused and didn’t understand any of the words that were said until I went online to look up the lyrics. Additionally, my friend wanted me to remix this track too so I did.
For the chorus, I literally just made some random noises, which actually didn’t turn out too bad. For me, this track was more of a joke remix but it still turned out ok and decent to listen to.
Mixtapes – Rich Chigga “Dat Stick” Freestyle Remix Cover
All it took was a pink polo and a fanny pack and I was sold!
After watching the music video from this track, I knew I definitely had to get on this track just from the sheer flow of the original song. The beat is fire and the original version of this song was simply dope.
