Singing – Song Practice
So it’s really crazy how this happens to me. Now on most days after working when I get home I just feel completely drained, but on this day things were just a little different.
My inspiration hit again so I began to sing. But, I didn’t just sing anything, I began to sing some old school and even some 2000’s RnB tracks.
Now this session was unlike any other because it was my session.
Singing – I Was Really Feeling The Jagged Edge Vibe

So this may seem cheesy, but I totally recorded my singing session in the bathroom because it was convenient.
In all honesty, I practice singing every day, but I never record it and post because when I post things, I like to put time and effort into what I release. Additionally, I never felt like short clips like these would actually be interesting, but I guess they can be.
Now, moving back to the subject at hand, I was feeling the Jagged Edge vibe.
One of my favorite songs by the group is “Walked Outta Heaven”. This is a song that I’ve listened to every since I was a young child so I thought I’d take a shot at singing it on my own just to get a gauge on my voice.
Singing – For About A Minute, I Thought I Was Trigga

So this always happens to me. Whenever there is a person that I’m inspired by, I start to see myself as them whenever I engage in actions pertaining to the industry they are involved in.
For instance, when I played basketball, I always saw myself as Allen Iverson, D-Wade, Lebron, or Shaq depending on whatever position I played.
But man, I was feeling some of the older Trey Songz tracks from 2007 on this day, but the one that I recorded was “Last Time”. I thought this was a really good song and one can really hear the fluctuations in vocal range that Trey Songz displayed.
I always enjoy practicing before playing. Whenever I sing, rap, dance, or draw, I just feel like I’m in a different world and everything is just right.
